Good Shepherd Center’s Golf Tournament was created by a dynamic group of volunteers in 2003 and has grown to become Good Shepherd’s largest annual fundraiser, which has raised over $2 million to date. The event features a Golf Tournament, Dinner, Live and Online Auctions, and Tennis and Pickleball Mixer. In total, more than 350 participants are expected.

About Us

The mission of Good Shepherd Center is to feed the hungry, shelter the homeless, and foster transition to housing.

Established in 1983 as a modest Soup Kitchen, Good Shepherd has grown to become the largest provider of homeless services in the region. Current programs include the Soup Kitchen which serves meals to shelter guests 365 days a year; Second Helpings food salvage and distribution program; a Day Shelter providing the homeless with access to showers, clothing, transportation, and an award-winning on-site medical clinic; a Night Shelter with 118 beds for homeless men, women, and families with children; Sgt. Eugene Ashley Center providing bridge housing and permanent supportive housing for Veterans and men with disabilities; and SECU Lakeside Reserve, affordable housing with supportive services for 40 chronically homeless adults with disabilities, including seniors and Veterans.
